While we may all be guilty of indulging in this calorie-laden fast food, we can’t deny the fact that we absolutely love them. They are cheap, tasty and a great on-the-go snack option.

However, Serendipity3, a famous restaurant in New York City, took their culinary game to next level, by creating the world’s most expensive French Fries.

To celebrate National French Fry Day, creative director and chef Joe Calderone and corporate executive chef Frederick Schoen-Kiewert of Serendipity3 created Crème de la Crème Pomme Frites.

It costs USD 200 (Rs 14,928 approximately).

Serendipity3 has also set a Guinness World Record for making the “Most Expensive French Fries''.

The ingredients, you ask? The French Fries are made with upstate Chipperbeck potatoes which are blanched in Dom Perignon Champagne and J LeBlanc French Champagne Ardenne Vinegar.

They are then fried thrice in pure goose fat. Then, they are seasoned with Guerande truffle salt, Urbani summer truffle oil and topped with shaved Crete Senesi Pecorino Tartufello.
