Are you a fan of spicy, saucy, crispy yet flavourful street-style Chilli Chicken? Then here’s a delicious and simple desi Chinese recipe, which can be made at home too without putting in much efforts.

500g chicken, 2 tbsp soy sauce, 1 tbsp red chili sauce,1 tbsp green chili sauce,1tbsp tomato ketchup, 1 tbsp vinegar,2 tbsp cornflour, 1 egg, salt to taste, oil for deep frying.

1 onion,1 capsicum, 2-3 green chilies, slit, 4-5 garlic cloves, 1-inch ginger, 2 spring onions, 1 tsp black pepper powder,1 tsp sugar,1 tbsp sesame oil.

To begin with this easy recipe, marinate the chicken pieces with soy sauce, red chili sauce, green chili sauce, tomato ketchup, vinegar, cornflour, egg, and salt. Mix well and let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.

Heat oil in a deep pan for frying. Once the oil is hot, fry the marinated chicken pieces until they turn golden brown and crispy. Remove from oil and set aside.

In a separate pan, heat a tablespoon of oil (you can use the same oil used for frying chicken or use fresh oil). Add minced garlic and ginger. Sauté for a minute until fragrant.
