1 cup masoor dal, 3-5 drumsticks, 1 onion, 1 tsp ginger, 1 tomato, 3-5 flat beans, 2 cups water, 1 tsp ghee, salt to taste, 1/2 tsp black pepper

Heat a pan, add ghee, onion, and ginger. Sauté for 30 seconds.

Add the tomato and mix well. Cook for 2 minutes.

Add chopped drumsticks and flat beans. Mix well, and cook for another 2 minutes.

Now, add washed and soaked masoor dal, along with salt and pepper. Mix well, cover, and cook for 10 minutes.

Let the mixture cool down. Blend it into a smooth puree and sieve it into another pan.

Add water, salt, and pepper to taste. Cook for 3-5 minutes. Serve hot.
